ZFF, Green Carpets, Gala Premieres, Award Night and highlights of 13th Zurich Film festival.
The actress Alicia Vikander and director Lisa Langseth presented a new movie EUPHORIA. They gave a press conference and were present on the Green Carpet before the Gala Premier of the movie.
Good to know:
- EUPHORIA is a family drama by Swedish director Lisa Langseth.
- The touching story of two sisters, who is disconnected from each other , yet taking a mysterious trip together. Their journey will come to a dramatic point and unleash true deep emotions, showing importance of the family.
- Alicia Vikander and Eva Green play the main characters.
- Alicia Vikander is a Swedish actress, known for her roles in Ex Machina (2014), The Danish Girl (2015), The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015), Jason Bourne (2016) and others.
The actor Andrew Garfield, director Andy Serkis and producer Jonathan Cavendish introduced their new movie BREATHE.
At the press conference the actor and director described their feelings during the screening process. Jonathan Cavendish shared his memories about his father, whose story formed the basis of the film.
Good to know:
- BREATHE is a drama, based on the true story, directed by Andy Serkis.
- It is a story of Robin Cavendish that had beloved wife and normal life until one day he was diagnosed with polio and became paralyzed. The family didn’t step aside, and faced the battle agains the illness and prejudice.
- BREATHE is a directing debut of Andy Serkis.
- Andrew Garfield is well-known for his roles in The Social Network (2010), Never Let Me Go (2010), The Amazing Spider-Man (2012), The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) and Silence (2016).
One of the most glamorous parties of the festival is the Tommy Hilfiger VIP Dinner, that traditionally hosted by the beautiful restaurant Razzia.
This year along with famous businessmen, artists, musicians and tv celebrities were also present Andrew Garfield, Andy Serkis, Bill Pullman, Dee Ocleppo and Tommy Hilfiger himself.
The Award night and winners of 13th Zurich Film Festival
The Award Night traditionally took place at the gorgeous Zurich Opernhaus (Opera House). Beautiful people on the Green Carpet, amazing performances and exiting award ceremony, followed by VIP Party. It was the night to remember! :)

- Audience Award – A RIVER BELOW by Mark Grieco (Colombia, USA)
- Publikumspreis Kinderfilme – DIE HÄSCHENSCHULE-JAGD NACH DEM GOLDENEN EI / RABBIT SCHOOL – GUARDIANS OF THE GOLDEN EGG by Ute von Münchow-Pohl (Germany)
- Treatment Competition Award – Seraina Nyikos for the Project SECONDO (Switzerland)
