TRENDS AND INNOVATIONS AT GENEVA INTERNATIONAL MOTOR SHOW

Above all, one of the strongest trends is growing amount of energy-efficient cars. Electric cars are finally our reality, as a result, most of the brands are presenting new electric series of models. In addition, new brands which are dedicated to E-cars are emerge strongly on the market. Even more, the car of the year 2019 is the electric Jaguar I-Pace. And I’m so happy about it. I have had a chance to see this concept expanding during my visits to the fair, and that’s the future I’m excited to drive in.

    SELF-DRIVING CARS

Technologies constantly change the way we live and drive. Thus, the driving culture is noticeably evolving towards self-driving cars and AR technologies. Some important topics, like cybersecurity of connected and autonomous vehicles as well as traffic controls and latest technological developments will be discussed within the Motor Show.

    Monochromatic minimalism in colours

Even though it is not officially declared, there is always a dominant pallet of colours during the show. This year, I think the most trending colours are white and granite grey. Brands are bravely incorporate them not only for the exteriors, but also for the interiors. While it looks neat and luxurious, I do hope that the white interiors come with a special cleaning feature. :) However, some brands stood up with more bold colour choices, like orange, red and blue.

    TAG HEUER SPECIAL EXHIBITION

The guests of the Motor Show could also enjoy the special exhibition of TAGHeuer. This Swiss watchmaker takes the opportunity to announce new collaborations and demonstrate legendary cars. Throughout the show, the brand celebrates 50 years of the legendary TAG HEUER MONACO.
