More than 80 wine producers are OFFERing around 2000 WINES from all the major growing regions of the world for tasting, comparison and enjoyment.

Traditionally, you will find wine from all over the world during the fair. However, this year the Swiss producers are dominating and that’s exciting, as it is a perfect opportunity to discover some amazing native varieties and learn more about Swiss wines. Valais, Switzerland’s largest wine-growing canton, is the scene of attention with around 200 wines, followed by wines from the cantons of Zurich and Grisons. Also, remarkable appearance of the winemakers from Vaud, Aargau and Schaffhausen.

The special charm of the spring wine fair is the presentation of the new vintage wines. And here Switzerland offers also great qualities. The past hot-summer created extremely ripe grapes. Even today, 2018 is considered a vintage of the century. Numerous Swiss wine producers offer visitors the opportunity to taste it for the first time.

For foreign wines, Italy is expanding its leading position. At over 15 stalls, you can taste wines from almost all regions of the Apennine Peninsula. Convincing is also the appearance of Spain. In addition to classics, wines from less known regions of the south could surprise you. Furthermore, France has always a comprehensive range of sophisticated wines. And once again, Austria presents itself as the undisputed leader of “small” Europeans, followed by Portugal and Germany.

Expovina PRIMAVERA gives a unique opportunity to learn more about grape varieties, cultivation techniques, selections and wine producers in the modern and bright ambience of PULS 5.
