Ewan McGregor and Jennifer Connelly presented their new film, AMERICAN PASTORAL, at Zurich Film Festival on September 26, 2016.

Good to know:

  • AMERICAN PASTORAL is a drama, which shows how the perfect life of the perfect family is falling apart by political attachments of the daughter.
  • AMERICAN PASTORAL is a first experience for Ewan McGregor as a Director.
  • At the Press Conference Ewan McGregor said that he waited 15 years for a right story to debut as a Director. He really enjoyed the process and hopes to find more interesting projects, novels and stories to work with.
The Green Carpet presented renowned guests before the Gala Premieres. Beside the Cast and the Director of AMERICAN PASTORAL, Green Carpet welcomed Sharon Maguire – the Director of BRIDGET JONESS BABY. Lucky film enthusiasts, who managed to get a ticket, could enjoy Q&A with famous guests, and the Gala Premieres. 12th Zurich Film Festival is continuing!
