Every year Zurich Film Festival awards outstanding figures of the film industry for the achievements and contributions in the field of cinema!

Beside the International Competition between bright filmmakers for the main award of the festival – Golden Eye, the Zurich Film Festival rewards phenomenal personalities of the film industry with the special Golden Eye Awards in different nominations.

• Hugh Grant is one of the most successful English actors. He is well-know for his roles in such famous movies as Notting Hill, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Music and Lyrics, Bridget Jones’s Diary and others. I think, he has an extraordinary sense of humour, comic talent and self-criticism.
• Hugh Grant received a lot of awards in his career. Some of them are Golden Globe Award, British Academy Film Awards, César Awards and BAFTA/LA Britannia Awards.

• Lorenzo di Bonaventurais an American renowned film producer.
• While he was working on the position of studio executive at Warner Brothers he was devoted to the world-famous films as THE MATRIX and HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER’S STONE.
• In 2003, Lorenzo di Bonaventura build his own the „Bonaventura Pictures“ production company based at Paramount Pictures. Since then, he has produced a lot of successful movies, for example, TRANSFORMERS, RED, RED 2, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, Constantine and others.
• At the Zurich Film Festival Lorenzo di Bonaventura received “Career Achievement Award” and presented his new film – Deepwater Horizon.
• The Award Ceremony and the  Gala Premiere of Deepwater Horizon took place at the Corso cinema on September 28th.
